The Forney Freshmen "B" Team beat Aledo 22 - 16. The Jackrabbit defense did not allow a touchdown. Aledo scored first running the opening kickoff back for a touchdown. The Jackrabbits countered with Earl Few scoring the Jackrabbits 1st touchdown and Brandon Hooper scoring the 2 point conversion. The 1st quarter ended with the score 8 - 8. The Jackrabbits scored their 2nd touchdown on an excellent run by Austin Blevins with 4:19 left in the quarter. Richard Romero scored the 2 point conversion. Aledo's second touchdown came after the Jackrabbits mishandled a pitch out and Aledo ran it in 32 yards into the Jackrabbit end zone with 4:49 left in the game. The Jackrabbits mounted a last ditch effort driving the ball down the field on runs by Blevins and Burns. Facing 4th down and 9 the Jackrabbits Richard Romero completed a pass to J.T. Cates to keep the drive alive. With 16 seconds to play the score was tied 16 - 16. The Jackrabbits, Burns, scored the Jackrabbits 3rd touchdown leaving only 12 seconds on the clock. The two point conversion failed. Austin Blevins and Londell Burns were outstanding on offense for the Jackrabbits. The entire Jackrabbit defense was outstanding.

The Freshmen "A" Team met the enemy Thursday night and discovered it was themselves. An interception with 8:04 left in the half at the Aledo 5 yard line cost the Jackrabbits a scoring opportunity and later in the game suffered another costly interception.

Forney 30 - Sulphur Springs 20
The Freshmen "B" Team beat the Sulphur Springs Wildcats 30 - 20. Earl Few and Jacob Barkham led the offense with outstanding performances. Sulphur Springs scored first in the opening quarter. The Jackrabbits came back and scored and went up 8 - 7 in the 1st quarter. With 6:57 in the half Earl Few ran 35 yards for the Jackrabbits 2nd touchdown and Jacob Barkham scored the 2 point conversion to put the Jackrabbits up 16 - 7. The Jackrabbits scored again with 3:24 left in the half on a 20 yard run by # 30. Earl Few ran in the try for points and the Jackrabbits led at the end of the half 24 - 7. The Wildcats came back and scored with 5:47 in the 3rd quarter after the Jackrabbits fumbled at the Wildcats 20 yard line. At the end of the 3rd quarter the Jackrabbits led 24 - 14. The Jackrabbits fumbled again at their own 18 and the Wildcats scored their 3rd touchdown with 6:00 minutes left in the game. Earl Few scored again with 2:25 left to give the Jackrabbits the lead at 30 - 20. With 1:19 left in the game Ezequiel Ramos intercepted a Wildcat pass to end any hope of a Wildcat comeback. The Jackrabbits surrendered the ball twice to the Wildcats by way of fumbles. The Defense was also outstanding rushing the Quarterback.
