Jabari Anderson rushed for 134 yards and four touchdowns to lead Wylie East to a 45-27 non-district win over fumble-plagued North Forney in the season opener at Citibank Stadium. Anderson, a junior, scored of 2, 2, 61, and 17 yards to help Wylie East rally from a 14-0 first quarter deficit. Sophomore quarterback Garrett McCain completed 13-of-23 passes for 230 yards and one touchdown with no interceptions. His favorite target was Marcell Ateman, who caught five passes for 156 yards. North Forney, which lost 5-of-6 fumbles, was led by Giresse Forchu who rushed for 146 yards and two scores.
