North Forney (5-1,1-0) defeated Crandall (2-4,0-1) in the District 13-3A opener 41-21 at City Bank Stadium.
North Forney amassed 498 yards of offense with 451 yards coming on the ground. Stephen Buckley had a combined 152 yards and 2 tds, while Giresse Forchu rushed for 240 yards on 22 rushes and 2 tds.
North Forney scored 27 unanswered points before Crandall could get anything going.
Crandall finally scored on a 18 yard Brenden Gilbert touchdown pass from Ryan Long, but it was too little too late. Crandall also scored twice more in the fourth quarter.
