Bo Gipson returned the opening kick 86 yards for a touchdown serving notice to the Tigers that the "Fighting Jackrabbits Are Back". The Jackrabbits controlled the game from that point on with the Jackrabbit defense all but shutting out the Tigers just allowing a 40 yard field goal and holding the Tiger offense to just 128 yards of total offense and picking off 5 passes. Peter Smith scored 3 touchdowns and rushed 27 times for 217 yards. Blake Branton rushed 11 times for 110 yards and completed 5 of 12 passes for 103 yards. Branton scored the Jackrabbits final touchdown on a 34 yard run. Kezie Camp and Juan Villereal each caught 2 passes from Branton. Bo Gipson intercepted two passes to lead the Forney Defense. Phillip Patterson also picked off two passes for the Jackrabbits and Leslie Booker returned an interception 8 yards for a touchdown.
