Lady Rabbit pitcher Britany Benedict not only had to contend with a very talented McKinney North team but also had to try and figure out what the home plate umpire considered the "Strike Zone". The Lady Rabbits appeared at the beginning to be ready to play but were cooled off by the rain delay. After a first inning 40 minute rain delay the game finally resumed. Sulphur Springs officials and Forney coaches feverishly worked on the field after the rain stopped while McKinney North Coaches and fans looked on. Even though McKinney was the home team they made no attempt to help get the field ready to resume play.
