The Jackrabbits jumped out to a 14 to 0 lead early in the game on some excellent running by Peter Smith only to see Whitehouse whittle away and take the game away from the Jackrabbits in the second half. The Jackrabbits unveiled their new spread offense that for some reason sputtered in the second half. Peter Smith opened the second half taking the kickoff 93 yards to give the Jackrabbits a 14 point margin. The Jackrabbits were driving downfield again but fumbled. Whitehouse capitalized on the Jackrabbits coverage mistakes to come up with some big pass plays. Peter Smith's three touchdowns were most of the Jackrabbits offense. With less than 2 minutes in the game the Jackrabbits were driving for a score but fumbled at the Whitehouse 10 yard line from where Whitehouse ran out the clock.
Brady Attaway lead the Whitehouse second half comeback with four touchdowns. Attaway finished with a total of five touchdowns, going 21-36 for 239 yards. Peter Smith lead Forney with 96 yards rushing on 19 carries scoring two touchdowns. He also added a 93-yard kickoff return. Landon Hartwick completed 17 of 35 passes for 202 yards. Chris Atterberry caught 3 passes for 22 yards, Chad Laury caught 3 passes for 48 yards with Braydon Maquar also catching 3 passes for 42 yards. Peter Smith caught 3 passes for 14 yards and Tyler McElveen had 2 catches for 39 yards. Austin Williams caught 2 for 26 and Daryl Wafford caught 1 for 11. Tucker Burke converted 3 PAT's and kicked a 29 yard field goal.
