An inspired Jackrabbit team totally dominated the Poteet Pirates at City Bank Stadium Friday night. Peter Smith rushed for 182 yards and four touchdowns in leading Forney passed Mesquite Poteet, 35 to 3. Smith scored on runs of 35, 34 ,27, and 7. Chris Atterberry caught a 22 yard pass from Landon Hartwick for the other Jackrabbit touchdown.
Andrew Maddox led Mesquite Poteet with 99 rushing yards.
