Denison 35 - Forney 17

FORNEY – Stanley Morrison had 191 yards and four touchdowns on 26 carries as the Denison defeated Forney 35-17, at City Bank Stadium Friday night.
Morrison, who also had 121 yards passing, had two scoring runs apiece in each half as Denison increased a 21-17 halftime lead.
Thomas Moreland started the scoring for Forney (0-3) with a 39-yard field goal but Morrison scored twice to put Denison (2-1) ahead to stay.
Mekelle Webb had two rushing scores for Forney and Bryan Baldwin had a fumble recovery for a touchdown for Denison, which held Forney to three yards on four possessions in the second half.

Anxious Moments!

Late in the 4th quarter seeing Micah Roberts laying on the ground near mid field was a scary sight.  After several minutes Micah was transported to the hospital for evaluation. 

Good News!  Michael was released from the hospital with a sore neck and shoulder.
