The Jackrabbit's kicker, Thomas Moreland came on with 11:00 left in the game and kicked a 32 yard field goal to get the Jackrabbits on the scoreboard. The Jackrabbits showed flashes of solid offense and the defense played tough. The two teams looked similar on offense with Aledo having only 1 yard more total offense. The Jackrabbits defense held Aledo to 2.4 yards per rushing attempt while the Jackrabbits averaged 4 yards per rush. The Jackrabbit offensive line did a great job opening holes for Jackrabbit runners and protecting the Quarterback. The Jackrabbits 2 turnovers were very costly considering both times they were moving the ball well and were in scoring range. The Jackrabbits play Sulphur Springs next Friday at Sulphur Springs.
