WOW!
The Forney Jackrabbit Game Program has to be the best High School Game Day Program in the Nation. As a matter of fact this Program is better than any College Program that I have seen and is better than the Dallas Cowboy Program. This Program is Super Bowl quality. Congratulations to whom ever is responsible for this great Media Guide.
2005 Jackrabbits
Although the Jackrabbits lost some great players to graduation the 2005 Jackrabbits will be an improved team. Many of last years starters return and the Jackrabbits will field a powerful offensive team led by Sophmore Quarterback Landon Hartwick. The Jackrabbits will have 4 outstanding running backs. Hartwick showed great poise and talent in the last 2 games after moving up to the varsity. The Jackrabbits should have a strong passing game if the offensive line can give Hartwick protection. Hartwick displayed a very strong arm last year in the 2 varsity games that he started. With his size and speed and toughness he will cause Jackrabbit opponents a lot of problems. Overall the Jackrabbits look bigger and faster with several JV starters moving in to fill the voids created by graduation. When you compare the Jackrabbits on paper to the other schools in the district they did not lose as many starters to graduation and last years JV team was more than competitive even thou several underclassmen were moved up to the varsity. The Jackrabbits should make it back to the playoffs this year and be very competetive. Highland Park will probally be the District favorite again this year but they lost most of Quarterback Stafford's supporting cast to graduation.
